Gentle Words {Grace & Truth linkup}

Gentle words.

It’s such a pleasure to talk with someone who seems to exude gentleness - from the way they look, to the way they carry themselves, to the way they speak.

Gentle words are something I struggle with. I tend to say what’s on my mind, not often thinking about how it may impact someone else.

This week’s featured post was such an encouragement to me.

“I cannot do this on my own. On my own I can be depended on to be defensive, to prove a point, to want to be accepted or acknowledged. On my own I will stir up wrath – both in myself and in others!”

Belinda’s post rang so true for me. But I love the one thing she recommends when she knows that a stressful situation will be coming - one in which we are likely to let our words fly, rather than choose them with care.

Hop over to read the entire post and glean from Belinda’s wisdom. Thank you for sharing with us, Belinda!
