It’s Friday but Sunday’s Coming!

It’s Friday - but Sunday’s coming! lily

I love this video for Good Friday. This is the message of Easter - that God sent His son to die for us. Thankfully that is not the end of the story. {It’s Friday, but Sunday’s coming!} We would be just as lost in our hopelessness if it weren’t for the resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Jesus loved us all enough to endure the death on the cross for our sins, so that we can have eternity with Him. Do you know Him? Easter is a wonderful time to get back to church, to soak up the message that God loves you.

Don’t wait until you have everything together to come to Jesus - HE is the way to make everything come together in your life. You cannot be good enough without Him - He is the one who makes you whole and complete. He took your place so that you can be with Him. Amazing love!

And it’s easy to come to Jesus - you just need to pray a simple prayer. There’s no “right prayer” or “magic words” that you need to say. It is as simple as something like this:

“Dear Jesus, I am sorry for the wrong things I’ve done. I ask you to forgive me and be my Lord.”

After doing this, you’ll need to find a church, or continue going to the church you’re at. The gospel of John (4th book in the New Testament) is a great place to start your Bible reading. Pray that God will show you more of who He is. Find a Bible study that you can be a part of.

Jesus died for you, so that you can live with Him. This is information that requires a decision on your part. You can choose eternity with the one who paid your price, or you can choose to live without Him. My prayer is that you will find Jesus this Easter, or that your faith will be strengthened. But the choice is yours.

Someday, either your physical body will die, or Jesus will return to gather those who are His. Don’t miss out on making the most important choice of your life .

It’s Friday - but Sunday’s coming!
