Prayer Walking.
Have you ever done it? I know a lot of people who have done prayer walks in preparation for a new church, or as an outreach in the neighborhood.
Have you considered a prayer walk in your own home, though?
Shellie shares some reasons we should consider prayer walking in our homes, for our family. But she also offers encouragement and Scripture verses to pray in our homes.
Friends, can I encourage you to take a few moments and read her post? She talks about times that were tough in her personal life, about how prayer made a difference, about how God was faithful.
I have found the same to be true. I have prayed in my home, in the rooms throughout my home, I have prayed over each person, each coming and going, each decision made. I have thanked the Lord for the multitude of dirty dishes because our family is being fed. I have asked for continued provision for our needs.
The power of prayer is profound. And when we consider that we probably don’t even know of all of the answers to our prayers, it’s powerful. God is working in many ways all around us, and we may know of just a few of those.
Thank you, Shellie, for this encouragement to pray specifically, on purpose, with passion, for our families.
