I have always loved the story of Rahab. There is such hope in her story - and the promise that your sins, my sins, aren’t so big that they’ll keep us from God. In addition to that, I’ve always viewed Rahab’s story with interest because God used someone so very far from the truth, to save lives. Rahab’s story made a huge difference in history. Rahab - known by many, but chased by Hope.
Marquitta shares such a beautiful and compelling post about Rahab in her post You are Chased by Hope. Rahab took some risks to help save the spies. Regardless of how ugly and sinful her life may have seemed, God had a plan, pursued Rahab and offered salvation to her and because of her.
“Whatever you decide, remember God loves you, and has gone and will continue to go to great lengths to save you. When you give Him your heart, He will bless you; just like He blessed Rahab. Not only did He save her, He chose her to be part of the lineage of Jesus, our Lord, Savior, and Redeemer. Imagine the possibilities for your life.”
