This week, I’ve intentionally focused on getting some rest. My kids have been away with my parents, so I’ve had extra time to myself (and I did not use it for cleaning!), to rest, to sit quietly, to spend time with my husband, and to curl up with Jesus. So when I saw Jann’s post this week, I knew I wanted to share it with you!
Jann shares the meaning of the Greek word for rest (anapauo), and she shares about the Matthew 11 passage -
“So in essence the word rest in Matthew 11 means
to pause, to stop, to cease.
Jesus is asking us to come to Him and stop, pause, rest!”
