I am always Mom first and foremost, and I imagine many of you feel the same way.
My son has been away for almost a month at a music camp in New York state. We’ve traveled to visit him each weekend, and this is his final weekend there, which means that in just a few days he will be back under our roof.
This week I’ve been busy getting things together for the start of the school year, which has somehow crept up on us way too quickly. I’ve also been preparing for him to transition back home - trying to make sure he’s coming home to a tidy bedroom, clean and comfy sheets, and cabinets full of food he likes (although camp food was apparently pretty good)!
We’re all so excited to have him coming back home and I know we’ll be hearing about this experience for weeks to come!
That’s what I’ve been up to this week, which has prevented me from getting a featured post chosen - sorry!
