Refresh Your Soul {Grace & Truth}

It’s been quite an interesting couple of weeks here. We’ve started college applications for our oldest son, I’ve started a new job outside the home (that I love!) and it’s taken some adjusting of schedules, we’ve had some health issues in our extended family, and some car issues. Sometimes I just feel like when it rains, it pours.

The same is true with showers of blessings, though, too!

It’s been two years since one of the worst days of my life. I’ve had just over two years - 737 days - of seeing God show up time after time.
My family is together, healthy, happy, and growing in some wonderful and amazing ways!
We’ve found a new church to attend; God has been faithful in this time of transition for us.
Walking through the hard stuff has taught me to slow down and really see the beauty in every minute of every day!

God is so faithful!

I think that’s what drew me to this post - the reminder that God is faithful. The best way to really know God’s faithfulness is to really know God, and one way we can do that is to memorize Scripture - to hide His words in our heart.

Abi shares about the refreshment of her soul. I love how she talks about notes in her Bible that point her to another passage. So often we may skip over those little nuggets, but look how beautifully one of those little notes has changed Abi’s desire to be closer to God!

I’d encourage you to jump over and read her Scripture memorization challenge. It’s a challenge that’s very doable, and one that you’ll be working on with others. Will you join her? Will you join us?
